CeNS/CRC235 Workshop "Evolving Nanosciences"
Location: Venice International University (VIU) located on the small island "San Servolo"
This workshop brings together young researchers of the Center for NanoScience (CeNS) and Collaborative Research Center 235 "Emergence of Life" with experienced scientists from the fields of physics, chemistry and molecular biology. The talks of the workshop are intended to give the graduate students and post-doctoral researchers of CeNS and CRC235 an overview of current research topics on nanometer-scale science and origin of life research.
Under the workshop title "Evolving nanosciences", renowned scientists from all over the world will convene on the beautiful island of San Servolo to exchange ideas and to discuss their latest research progress.
The program committee is composed of the following scientists:
Prof. Dieter Braun, LMU Biophysics
Prof. Chase Broedersz, LMU Theoretical Physics
Prof. Alexander Holleitner, TUM Center for Nanotechnology and Nanomaterials
Prof. Friedrich Simmel, TUM Center for Nanotechnology and Nanomaterials
Prof. Philip Tinnefeld, LMU Physical Chemistry
Prof. Jan von Delft, LMU Theoretical Physics
Registration to the event will open end of May 2019.
