Voice Training Workshop
Mondays, 5-7 pm from September 21st until October 12th
With our voice we can express our feelings and intentions. By using the voice, we can arouse attention and raise motivation. But what can we do, if our vocal expression is limited, e.g. because of vocal fry and hoarseness while speaking or because of a monotone speaking style?
This online course consists of 4 meetings. Together with the most important theoretical aspects of voice training and the anatomy and physiology of voice production, this course will focus on practical exercises in the fields of muscular tension, breathing, phonation and articulation. In the time between the online meetings the participants have the chance to integrate the exercises into their daily routine and to train their awareness and mindfulness. The two trainers assist with any upcoming questions.
Content of the workshop:
- Exercises for an upright posture and a supportive breathing technique
- Exercises for phonation and articulation
- Exercises to develop an animating speaking style
- Theoretical framework regarding anatomy and physiology of the speaking process
